Privacy Policy
How we handle information you share with us through this website.
Effective date: July 9, 2026
Who we are
The Selling Table is an Indiana-licensed real estate brokerage operated by Jared Miller. This website (thesellingtable.com) is our public marketing site. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at 812-787-2316 or through our contact form.
Information we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, optional phone number, service interest, and message. We do not require an account to browse this site. Our hosting provider may log standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operations. This site does not run third-party marketing analytics pixels.
How we use your information
We use contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry, provide consultation about our services, and coordinate real estate transactions when you choose to work with us. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use contact form data for unrelated marketing lists.
Email delivery
Contact form messages are delivered by email using Resend. Message content is transmitted to our business email address so we can reply. Do not include sensitive financial or identity information in the form unless necessary for your inquiry.
Abuse protection
To reduce spam and abuse of the contact form, we may process your IP address (or a similar network identifier) through a rate-limiting service (Upstash Redis) for a short period. This data is used only for abuse prevention, not for marketing.
Cookies and third-party services
Site fonts are self-hosted with the page (via Next.js). Some pages may load images from Unsplash. If you follow links to our online intake wizard, platform site, or social media profiles, those services have their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies when you leave this site.
Data retention
We retain contact form correspondence as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of our business relationship and as required for recordkeeping and legal compliance. Rate-limit records, when used, are short-lived sliding-window keys.
Your choices
You may request access to or correction of information you submitted by contacting us. You may choose not to use the contact form and reach us by phone instead.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date below reflects the latest version posted on this page.
